Colaiste Muire Cobh is seeking applications for the position of Special Needs Assistant. Willingness and ability to work with a range of pupils is essential. Please note that the position is 0.5 of a post and has arisen due to retirement.
The position can only be filled in accordance with DES regulations and pending approval of the Department of Education & Skills and the Board of Management of Colaiste Muire.
The minimum required standard of education for appointment to an SNA post is: A QQI level 3 major qualification on the national framework of qualifications or a minimum of three grade Ds in the Junior Cert or equivalent.
Relevant experience in a post-primary school with students with a variety of care needs is desirable. Experience of working in a SNA team is also desirable.
Please submit a letter of application, completed Panel Form, if available, and a CV by 5pm on 23rd September 2024 to cmcobh@gmail.com. The CV should include qualifications, relevant experience in post-primary setting and contact details for 2 refereees.
